AFTER CARE
IMPORTANT 5 for 5
- Do not wet your tattoo for 5 days
- Do not get makeup or skincare on or near your tattoo for 5 days
- Do not touch your tattoo with your fingers for 5 days
- Apply your aftercare cream 5 times a day for 5 days, with a cotton tip, not fingers
- Avoid sweating for 5 days
IMPORTANT NOTES ON WHAT IS NORMAL TO EXPECT
- Your tattoo may weep for the first 24-48 hours.
(You need to wipe this off to avoid crusting, then reapply aftercare cream) - Your tattoo will go much darker within the first 24 hours. (This is temporary)
- You may get a headache the day of your treatment.
(Yes, you can take panadol) - Your tattoo will shrink approx. 2mm within 3 to 5 days.
- Your tattoo can fade up to 80% by the end of the first week.
- Your tattoo may become very itchy as they heal. (Avoid scratching)
- Your tattoo may be or become uneven and gappy by the end of the first week.
(It is advised to correct with pencil at this stage until the touch up, from day 6)
REMEMBER: this is a 2 stage process, the adjustment session will correct shape, thickness, gaps, colour, depth, length, fullness and balance.
AFTER CARE
